In November 2020, the Municipality of San José announced an increase in the number of bikes available for rent, helping citizens take advantage of a more environmentally friendly means of transport and an affordable trip.
The bikes are electric with an autonomy of 60 miles with a complete single charge, which makes these bikes one of the most attractive ways of wandering around or sightseeing around San Jose city. There is an exclusive bike line through the city streets, and since those bikes have a speed limit of 25 kph, you can ride them in the two boulevards too.
Between Municipalidad de San Jose and Omni Costa Rica, they placed a total of 950 bikes available for all users at San Jose town, and the only thing you have to do is to download the app, create an account, and become an official user.
