About Manuel Antonio National Park

Manuel Antonio National Park is known as the tropical paradise in Costa Rica. It is filled with natural beauty, birds, and wildlife, that anyone who comes for a visit cannot leave without saying wow!! The place is a wonderful spot for tourists who would love to relax, feel peaceful, enjoy activities with friends and family, take pictures, and make memories. The park came into existence back in 1972 covering a land of about 1,983 ha respectively. Even though Costa Ricans consider it as the smallest park, yet it’s so enchanting that the size doesn’t matter at all. As per the study, almost 311,111 people visited this park in the year 2017. The park can attend up to 2700 guests every day.

As per its activities are concerned, it offers the following:

The admission fee for this park is $18.08 for adults whereas for children from age 2 to 11, it’s $5.65. You can easily purchase a ticket from their entrance with either cash or debit and credit card. If you want to purchase tickets online, then visit here.

As per the tours are concerned, the park offers guided tours for both adults, and children. Pricing for adults is $55, for children $40, and residents $38 respectively. If you are seeking a private tour with your family, then adults would have to pay $76 whereas the children’s fee would be $60. In the guided tours, you’ll be offered:

  • Transportation for a round trip
  • Entrance fee
  • Vacation home
  • High tech telescopes by guided professionals
  • 2-3.5 hours guided tour.

After taking your tour, if you want to still stay at the park, then you can however, you’ll have to book a taxi, an Uber, or a bus afterward for you to reach your hotel. The opening hours are from 7 am to 4 pm every day except for Tuesdays.
